PPRC Pipes for Sale in Pakistan: Dura Flow Hot & Cold Water Pipes
If you’ve ever opened a wall after 3 years and found GI pipes full of rust, you know why everyone’s switching to PPRC now. I’ve been in plumbing 12 years in Lahore, and honestly, PPRC saved me more call backs than any other change.
So What Exactly is PPRC Pipe?
PPRC is short for Polypropylene Random Copolymer. Fancy name, simple idea. It’s plastic, but not the cheap kind.
Regular PVC can’t take hot water from a geyser. GI pipe rusts inside and chokes water pressure. PPRC handles both hot and cold, and it won’t rust because there’s no metal inside. Water stays clean, pressure stays same.
Biggest difference is how we join it. No thread tape, no glue. We heat the pipe and fitting with a machine, push them together, and they melt into one piece. Once it cools, that joint is stronger than the pipe itself. That’s why new houses in Bahria and DHA don’t use GI anymore.

Look, our water is hard. WASA water, bore water, all of it has minerals. Put that in GI pipe for 2 years and the inside looks like an old kettle.
PPRC doesn’t care. I’ve pulled out 8-year-old Dura Flow pipe from a house in Gulberg and the inside was still smooth and white. No scale, no rust.

Last Advice Before You Buy
PPRC goes inside your wall for 50 years. You won’t see it again till you break the wall. So don’t save Rs 15 per meter and pick some unknown brand.
Go to market, ask for Dura Flow sample, do a fusion test with your own hands. Good pipe feels solid. Cheap pipe feels light and bends too easy.
If you’re building a house in Pakistan in 2026, PPRC is not optional anymore. Question is just which brand. Check Dura Flow once. If you don’t like it, no problem. But most contractors I know stick with it after one job.
